Somewhere in Time Podcast returns for their first new episode of 2025. The new year begins with some leftovers from 1994 which the pod felt necessary to highlight. This episode, the focus is on the album “Low” by Testament. The first album to feature new blood on drums and lead guitar, this album had some conflicting views by the podcast.

In this episode, Tim and Eric review some of their favorite albums from 2024. Some of the bands highlighted include David Gilmour, Unto Others, The Pineapple Thief, Devin Townsend, Alkaline Trio, Corey Taylor, Kerry King, Category 7, and Flotsam and Jetsam. 

Somewhere in Time Podcast closes out 2024 with one of the biggest metal albums from 1994, Far Beyond Driven, by Pantera. 2024 marks the 30 year anniversary of this album, but also marks the 20 year anniversary of the death of Pantera’s guitar player, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. Both of these topics, among many others, are discussed this episode.
